Introducing MâmAmis: A Vibrant Vietnamese Restaurant In Sheung Wan
Celebrating The Art Of Communal Vietnamese Dining With A French Flair
MâmAmis is the latest Vietnamese restaurant to open its doors in Hong Kong, joining the ranks of its sister restaurants, Chili Fagara and Hot’N’Meen. Designed to celebrate the joy of communal dining, MâmAmis offers a lively and inclusive atmosphere where families can come together to savor Vietnamese dishes made using French techniques.
Located in a quiet corner in Sheung Wan, the restaurant is bright and airy thanks to its very high ceilings, large windows and use of greenery and plants throughout. The thoughtfully crafted menu at MâmAmis showcases an array of signature dishes such as the Wok-Fried Spicy Curry Crab (HK$688), the flavorful Vietnamese Style Chicken Curry (HK$168), and the succulent 48-hour slow-cooked Beef Short Ribs “The BBR” (HK$368), prepared using their open-flame BBQ grill. Their Phở (starting from HK$108) is customizable and includes a vegetarian option as well. Definitely order their signature Vietnamese-style Beef Carpaccio (HK$258) – they pride themselves on being the only restaurant in Hong Kong to offer this unique dish.
MâmAmis offers a selection of refreshing cocktails that pay homage to the legendary Vietnamese jazz singer, Hong Thanh. Crafted by acclaimed mixologist Raphael Holzer from Fernet Hunter, these cocktails perfectly complement the restaurant’s elegant dishes by using the finest original Vietnamese spirits and beers infused with aromatic herbs, creating a harmonious pairing.
Walk-ins are welcome for lunch and reservations are recommended for parties of 8 or more.

- Monday to Thursday: 11:30 am – 10 pm
- Friday & Saturday: 11:30am – 12am
- Closed on Sundays
