Located within the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, and set against the swanky backdrop of the Grand Hyatt Steakhouse on the second floor, LIPS Cocktails & Theatre offers an intimate setting shrouded in mystery and elegance, accessible only through draped curtains. The intimate space, which can only seat 58 guests, is bathed in a deep Klein blue and features plush seating, a dramatic velvet-draped stage, and a circular cocktail bar highlighted by a neon sign.
More than just a cocktail lounge, each evening (LIPS Cocktails & Theatre is closed on Sunday and Monday), the venue comes alive with a diverse lineup of entertainers, including stand-up comedians, magicians, singers, live bands, and DJs. The mixology program, led by Max Traverse, offers interactive cocktails that engage all senses, making each drink a narrative in itself. Signature cocktails, such as the visually stunning Wet Lips and the playful Arlequin, showcase Max’s ability to blend flavors and memories into each creation. Complementing its cocktail offerings, LIPS Cocktails & Theatre serves a delectable supper menu curated by Grand Hyatt Hong Kong’s culinary team, available until late. The menu features both savory and sweet treats, from foie gras lollipops to mini éclairs, designed to perfectly pair with the venue’s beverage selections.
