From the people who brought you Uncle Miguel, comes a new Central hotspot to add to your list! RightSideUp, poised to open on June 14 on trendy Peel Street, is a throwback to classic Americana, complete with retro tunes, fantastic drinks, and quintessential American flavors.
Their tagline – “Come for the drinks – stay for the music” sets the tone for a night of fun and merriment, making it an ideal spot for a lively group outing or a relaxed date night. Their mouthwatering menu consists of an extensive selection of lite bites, big bites, cocktails and “booze”.
Items that we can’t wait to try are The Best Fried Pickles, featuring battered pickles served with a spicy jalapeño ranch, the Buffalo Blues chicken wings served with blue cheese dip, and the Ring, Ring, and Onion Rings. For cheese lovers, Everybody Loves Deep Fried Cheese offers herb-crusted mozzarella paired with house marinara sauce. If you’re really hungry, their mains won’t disappoint. The Spinach Chicken Alfredo combines grilled chicken with a rich buttercream and parmesan, while Spicy Baked Ziti offers a hearty mix of spicy beef mince, tomato sauce, parmesan, mozzarella, and fried basil. The Baby Got Back Ribs are slow-cooked and glazed with a smoky barbecue sauce, accompanied by coleslaw and fries. Burger enthusiasts have several options including the Double Smash Burger with a double beef patty and sharp cheddar, the Highway to Hell Burger which adds cherry and ghost peppers to the mix, and the vegetarian-friendly Impossible Burger with an Impossible patty, caramelized onions, roasted bell peppers, provolone, and truffle mayo. The Colonel’s Sandwich features buttermilk fried chicken with pickled red cabbage and sriracha mayo. Lastly, the classic Philly Cheesesteak is made with grilled rib-eye, caramelized onions, bell peppers, and provolone. Water it all down with their inventive cocktails like Breakfast of Champions made of waffle fat-washed bourbon, chocolate bitters, and maple syrup, or the Wake Up America – pineapple rum, coffee, coconut and mango.
