It’s opening! The Hong Kong Palace Museum, a dedicated Chinese art and cultural landmark of the city, is scheduled to open to the public on July 2, 2022. This unique museum offers guests a peek into Chinese Cultural Heritage via both a local perspective and a global vision.
What to expect?
The museum has nine galleries where you can enjoy thematic performances and demonstrations, which introduce the aspects of China's history and culture of the Palace Museum. The museum also represents dynamic art and cultural exhibition from around the world.
The Palace Museum offers varieties of art and cultural learning programs. These learning programs will use the museum's resources to create innovative learning content and maintain the prestige of a museum.
Get a chance to explore China’s art and culture, and also look into the evolution of China’s history through dynamic performances and exhibitions. The Hong Kong Palace Museum will be conducting enriching lectures on Zoom for free. It's conducted to provide extensive knowledge of China's culture and heritage.
Open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday: 10am – 6pm
Friday, Saturday, and Public Holiday: 10am – 8pm
Closed on Tuesdays (except public holidays) and the first two days of the Lunar New Year
