Ticketing:

Buy your tickets in advance to take advantage of the latest deals and also beat the queues at the park! Tickets are available on the Ocean Park website (children aged 0-2 go free!) and you will also find fast-track options like the Ocean FasTrack Standard which gives you 7 priority access from designated rides and attractions and the Ocean FasTrack Pro (all priority accesses). Membership options:

The annual membership will allow you unlimited access to the park (excluding Park rest days and blockout days) and you’ll be able to enjoy the fantastic attractions, exhilarating rides and animal visits as often as you like. Besides the main fixtures and attractions, Ocean Park often has limited seasonal events and offers, such as the Summer Splash campaign, and the Sloth & Friends studio. And of course their landmark event, Halloween!

The annual membership is available at HK$1,380 for adults and HK$980 for students and children; the welcome pack also includes offers valued at HK$720.

How To Get To Ocean Park Hong Kong

By public transport

Probably the most convenient and fastest way to get to Ocean Park is via MTR - take the MTR South Island Line and get off at Ocean Park Station and you're there.

Public bus routes are also available from Hong Kong Island as well as Kowloon - alight at Aberdeen Tunnel Toll Plaza.

By car

Getting to Ocean Park by car is a breeze. Simply take the Wan Chai Entrance of the Aberdeen Tunnel and follow the Canal Road - Wong Nai Chung Road Overpass. The tunnel toll is HK$5 for a one-way trip. Once you've passed through the tunnel, you will find yourself on Wong Chuk Hang Road. Take a left onto Ocean Park Road and then another left at the Ocean Park Road roundabout to arrive at the Main Entrance.

Parking At Ocean Park:

Parking is offered at the Main Entrance of Ocean Park. The car park is open 24 hours a day. The parking fee is calculated until 12:00 am on the same day. If a guest picks up their car and leaves after 12:00 am on the first day, the fee for the second day will be charged in addition to the first day's parking fee. For hotel guests or participants in special activities at the park who wish to use the parking service for two consecutive days without leaving the car park, online pre-booking is required for the first day only.

The car park Shroff operates from 8:30 a.m. until 1 hour after the park closes. Visitors are advised to use the Octopus Card for payment and when departing at all times. Book your car park space in advance here.

The parking fees for private cars and motorcycles are as follows:

• Monday to Friday (Non-peak days): HK$25 per hour, with a maximum charge of HK$150 per day.
• Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and peak days: HK$40 per hour, with a maximum charge of HK$200 per day.

Planning your day in advance is essential, especially with kids in tow! The park is pretty big and it is pretty much impossible to do everything in one day, especially if you are restricted by factors such as nap and feeding times, inclement weather, different kids' ages and other.

3. Pack a bag: fill it with snacks, reusable water bottles, extra clothes, sunscreen and hats (there is very little shade when you're walking around), insect repellent
4. Bring a stroller! There's quite a lot of walking around. You can always also rent one from Aqua City for HK$150 for the whole day (plus a HK$100 refundable security deposit)
5. All baby care rooms are equipped with baby changers, bottle warmers, and feeding seats
6. You can get child wristbands at Guest Relations where you can write down contact details as well as your child's height for a hassle-free ride experience.

Depending on the queues, take the cable car or the Polar Express to the Summit - be sure to reverse the order on the way back so you get the full experience!

Where To Eat At Ocean Park

There are a number of restaurants at Ocean Park that will satisfy even the fussiest of eaters. All restaurants have kids' menus. Be sure to book ahead, especially on weekends as they get pretty busy. For Neptune's and Tuxedos do ask for a table with unobstructed views. Book through this link.

There are also several kiosks selling snacks (do drop by the Popcorn Cart for the best caramel popcorn we've tasted!) as well as fast-food. You will have to be swift and quick to grab a coveted seat nearby!

The Waterfront:

• Neptune's Restaurant is quite the treat - it is the largest aquarium restaurant in Hong Kong and serves contemporary Chinese cuisine!
