You are invited to the extraordinary summer open-air experience, SummerFest 2023, at the Central Harbourfront. From June 9 to July 23, 2023, this large-scale, free summer event will provide more than 25 wide-ranging activities relating to this year’s theme, “Fun In The Sun”! Read on to discover the highlights from this fun, family-friendly event like a mega bus expo perfect for our little ones who are transport and bus fans, a camping festival, games, a balance bike competition, musical performances and much more! There will also be a huge sandpit where the kids can build sandcastles and enjoy some summer fun!

Calling all transport and bus aficionados! The One Citybus Exhibition will be at the Summerfest and will showcase 30 years of the beloved bus company with retro buses, retired buses and current buses on display at the Central Harbourfront, with lots of photo opportunities. There will also be a pop-up selling new and exclusive merchandise, as well as bus-themed games booths where you can win some fantastic prizes! On 18 June, in celebration of Father’s Day, the first 200 fathers along with their children visiting the exhibition will receive a Citybus ice towel as a complimentary gift.
Another highlight of SummerFest 2023 is the HK Camping Festival! Taking place on June 10 and 11 (Saturday & Sunday) from 1pm to 9pm next to Tamar Park, join other outdoor & camping fans for an annual gathering! There will be camps set up on the waterfront, including camping and outdoor brands exhibitions, car camping gatherings, a flea market where people trade used goods, sharing sessions, and musical performances. Additionally, there will be a series of stalls, workshops, and a food area showcasing Hong Kong's unique camping culture.
In addition to all the musical performances on the main stage at SummerFest, games booths and other activities, there will be Ukulele Festival taking place on June 17 from 4pm-8pm. Come listen to music and immerse yourself in summer vibes or join in too!
On Sunday June 18, from 10am-6pm, hundreds of little racers will gather to participate in the annual balance bike competition, racing with lightning speed! There will be various game booths on site and many balance bikes and protective gear available for children to try out for free, helping them improve their balance and control abilities.
This event is free and no pre-registration is required.
On Saturday July 15 from 1pm-4pm the Hong Kong Baseball Association will be introducing the basics of baseball through games for the general public. There are also multiple game booths and workshops suitable for people of all ages!
