Fancy trying your hand at padel? Now you can, for free, at Taikoo Place!

Get ready for PROJECT AFTER 6: Padel Tour 2024, an innovative collaboration with adidas and PADEL+, Hong Kong’s premier padel tennis club. For a limited time from May 10 to July 19, 2024, a full-scale professional padel court will be set up at One Island East, right next to Taikoo Park. This exclusive setup marks the first professional padel court in downtown Hong Kong, offering you the chance to try out this fast-growing sport! Padel is a racquet sport that combines elements of tennis and squash, played on a smaller, enclosed court. It’s easy to learn, suitable for all skill levels, and emphasizes social interaction, making it increasingly popular worldwide.

During weekdays in May, coaches from PADEL+ will be on hand to provide specialized coaching, ensuring a great introduction to the sport for newcomers. Additionally, adidas is set to launch its professional line of padel racquets and balls in Hong Kong, enhancing the experience with top-quality equipment.

You can conveniently book the padel court in one-hour timeslots, with all necessary equipment provided on-site. New timeslots are released every Thursday for the following week, so for instance, availability for May 20-24 will be open starting May 16. Additionally, shower facilities are available upon request to freshen up after your game.

How to book your padel court:

1. Download the Taikoo Place app here
2. On the home page, select Hong Kong then “Visitor” in the box below it
3. Under tenancy name write: visitor
4. Register with your name, e-mail, and number
5. Click on the box at the top that says: Padel has arrived at Taikoo Place!
6. Pay a refundable HK$100 deposit
