Head on over to the Elements Mall in Kowloon with the kids to attend KIFF, the Kids International Film Festival this summer!
The 8th Hong Kong Kids International Film Festival will feature a selection of eight feature films and a compilation of five short films, totaling 20 screenings, including children’s films and animations from around the world. The festival’s highlight is the opening film “The Inventor,” an animated story about Leonardo da Vinci, featuring Academy Award-winning actress Marion Cotillard and written by the screenwriter of “Ratatouille.” For the first time, the festival will screen a compilation of short films in cinemas, offering a unique experience for young audiences. The lineup includes films like “ROBOTIA,” “Qiaohu and the Fantasy Stage Adventure,” and “A Time to Fly,” among others.
In addition to feature films, the festival will showcase short films such as Julia Donaldson’s “Tabby McTat” and “The Smeds and the Smoos” as well as “Billy the Cowboy Hamster: The Hero’s Return” and “Hungry Bear Tales in Cinemas”. These stories are designed to captivate and inspire children, providing a mix of adventure, culture, and life lessons. Join us for an unforgettable cinematic experience that celebrates the magic of storytelling and the joy of watching films on the big screen.
